About Koh Tao Cabana

Koh Tao Cabana is a seafront resort on Sairee Beach, Koh Tao. You stay in a cottage or a villa. The resort has a beach restaurant, a bar, a spa and a small outdoor pool. Parking, the shuttle and Wi-Fi in the common areas are free.

Location

The resort is in Sairee, on a white sand beach, in a quiet corner. Mae Haad pier is a 15-minute drive away. Koh Samui is 2 hours away by car and ferry, and its airport 65 km away as the crow flies.

Chumphon Pinnacle is 6.7 km away as the crow flies, and Sail Rock 25 km. Dive boats leave from Sairee or Mae Haad.

Rooms

The cottages and villas range from 42 to 180 m². Some are by the water, others among the trees or higher up, with a sea view. Jiglae villa, the largest, has its own pool.

Each cottage has air conditioning, a private wooden terrace, bamboo furniture and a sitting area. You get cable TV, a minibar and a kettle. The small bathroom is semi-open, with a shower, bathrobes and slippers.

Dining

Breakfast is a buffet, and you can also have it in your cottage. The beach restaurant serves Thai food and fresh seafood, in the open air. The bar mixes cocktails, and a snack bar rounds out the options. For a change, Wind Beach, a restaurant and bar, is 450 m away.

Leisure

The Kajavari spa is in the gardens, near the beach. You can book a massage or a beauty treatment there. The resort has a small outdoor pool with lounge chairs. Kayaking and water sports are booked on site, at extra cost.

Snorkeling is booked on site, at extra cost. For scuba diving, go through one of the Koh Tao dive centers.

Dive boats leave from Sairee, your beach, or from Mae Haad. Dive centers reach Chumphon Pinnacle in 45 minutes by boat, usually in the morning, for two dives. For Sail Rock, allow 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours by boat. Dive centers only go there two or three times a week.
